Deep Cleaning vs. Regular Cleaning: Which Do I Need?
Know when routine upkeep is enough and when accumulated buildup calls for deeper work.
Routine cleaning
Regular cleaning focuses on maintaining accessible surfaces: dusting, wiping counters, cleaning bathrooms and kitchens, vacuuming and mopping. It makes the most sense when a home has been cleaned recently and is in generally maintained condition.
When to ask about a deep clean
A deep clean allows more attention to buildup, edges, fixtures and overlooked areas such as baseboards. Consider it for a first professional visit, after a long gap, or before starting recurring service. Ask for an itemized scope: inside appliances, cabinets and windows are not automatically included everywhere.
