Start with the empty home
A move-in clean can address floors, kitchens, bathrooms, reachable fixtures and the surfaces you will use immediately. It is easier to access shelves and corners before furniture and boxes arrive. If the previous occupants left buildup, photos can help explain the condition.
Confirm the extras
Inside cabinets, drawers, appliances and interior windows may require separate time or an add-on. Clarify whether the home will be empty, whether utilities and water work, and when movers arrive. Allow enough time for the cleaning to finish before unpacking.
